I think this is Erm Foltz who was bringing the remains of a bomber crew that crashed into a cliff near Nikolski, he had two other men with him (not shown) and four horses and they were on the way to Ft Glenn.

  • sidorski December 22, 2009 at 06:05AM Dear Cat, Thanks for the comment I now have your email address so I'll add it to my list. I only knew of Erm Foltz because he was only at Kettle Caape for a couple of days so we didn't get to know them that well Erm Foltz was the commanding officer at Niklolski where there was another radar set like the one that I maintained at Kettle Cape
  • CatHoltman June 12, 2009 at 05:04PM My name is Cat Holtman, and Erm Foltz was my grandfather. I would be VERY appreciative if you could contact me. I'm interested to know more about what he did at the Aleutian Islands. I realize that I can't confirm if this is my grandfather... it's a dark photo, but I wasn't sure how to contact anyone on this. :) My email is catholtman@gmail.com Thank you!
